What does it Cost? WHAT METHODS OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT?
We have appointment pricing and open access pricing. For new patients, an injury evaluation must be performed by appointment only prior to open access packages being an option so that we get to know you, make sure we have a thorough discussion of your injury, and give you the best care possible.
Injury evaluations are $75 and include any therapeutic modalities, taping, or manual treatment necessary based on our findings. We also create and begin your rehab/recovery plan immediately.
If you choose to see us by appointment, follow up visits are $50 per visit as you will have one-on-one time with one of our rehab specialists.
We accept cash and VISA, Mastercard. We do not accept checks. We are able to accept Health Savings Account (HSA) payments.
What is open access? Why are the prices different?
We understand that appointments can be limited or limiting to you and to us. We have created the Open Access Time for our athletes. This is a time (3pm - 6pm) that we give you open access to everything we have to offer.
You can use the entire time or just 20 minutes. It is your time to use our equipment to complete your rehab or strength plan. We have Care Packages for rehab needs and Development Packages for strength training needs. We also have Drop-In and Punch Pass rates.
These prices reflect the amount of hands-on, one-on-one time that you receive with your rehab plan. This is because there will be multiple athletes in the same space completing rehab plans, and everyone will need some attention.
WHO IS IT FOR? IS IT ONLY FOR ATHLETES?
At Return to Play Elite we serve anyone who feels limited by pain or injury. You do not have to be actively participating in competitive sports to participate in our rehab programs. However, our programs are designed to be intense, including some weight lifting and agility training for return to sport progression. If you are looking for a low intensity rehab program our services may not be right for you. We often see athletes or active people after they have completed their insurance allotted rehab at another clinic but don’t feel like they are back to 100%. We bridge the gap between the end of regular PT and full return to sport or activity to help you get back to doing what you love and feeling your best.
What Should I Expect
We build our rehab programs to be integrated right into your practice schedule and workout routine. We then schedule visits with us to assess how the program is working, progress your plan, and provide any hands on treatments that are necessary. The goal is to help you work out effectively and make you as independent as possible in your recovery. Throughout your recovery process, you can utilize our equipment via our Open Access Time.
The number of visits will reflect where you are in your recovery and how independent you want to be in your plan. Often, patients start with 1-2x a week for a month and then decrease to every other week until all goals are met. The plan is very flexible and based on your needs and level of participation. However, with our Open Access Time, patients can come as often as they wish when one of our packages are purchases.
We also use an app, that is free for all patients, so you can have your rehab program with you at all times. It will have videos and descriptions of all of your exercises right in one place. The app will also send you reminders to keep you on track!
IS THERE AN EXPECTED PERIOD OF TIME FOR PROGRESSION?
All injury and performance limitations are different and have different recovery rates based on tissue healing times and participation. Fast recovery is heavily influenced by participation and commitment to the rehab plan. The more you engage and commit to your rehab, the better your recovery. However, no amount of nutrition, sleep, or rehab activity will be a quick fix, recovery takes time. The rehab team will work with you to address your injury and set a plan to meet your performance goals. Most plans are built to be integrated into your practice or work out schedule.
WHAT IS AN ATHLETIC TRAINER? HOW CAN AN ATHLETIC TRAINER HELP ME MEET MY REHAB AND PERFORMANCE GOALS?
Allan Malone is our athletic trainer. He attended graduate school at UNCG to receive his Master's in Athletic Training. He is qualified to perform emergency medicine in the case of on field/court injuries and has also been extensively educated in rehabilitation of athletic injuries. Many athletic trainers work with high schools, colleges, or professional teams to assess on field injuries and to assist the players with rehab after injury. Our athletic trainer is able to do the same thing, however in the clinic he is available to all people rather than to just one specific group or team. Allan is credentialed under Dr. James Cates of Satellite Medicine which means he consults Dr. Cates in the event where immediate medical attention is required.
DO I NEED A PHYSICIAN REFERRAL?
No, you do not need a written physician referral to schedule an evaluation. Our ATC and PT are able to fully evaluate your injury and movement patterns to determine how to help you!
After evaluation, if your ATC or PT suspects you have an injury or illness that requires the assessment of a physician he or she may ask that you visit a physician before scheduling a follow up visit.
CAN YOU PERFORM AN X RAY/CT SCAN/MRI?
No, we do not have the ability to perform any imaging however we can refer you to Dr. Cates at Satellite Med for any imaging we feel is urgently required. You may also return to your orthopedic or primary care physician for imaging.
